Terms of Use

1. What this is

A private directory and noticeboard built and run by members of the AIM Master of Entrepreneurship Class of 2028, for that cohort. This is not an official AIM system. AIM does not run it, endorse it, or answer for it. It is free, non-commercial, carries no advertising, and is maintained by classmates in their own time.

2. Accepting these terms

By signing in you accept these Terms and the Privacy Notice. We record that you accepted, when, and which version. If the terms change materially, we will ask you again.

3. Who can use it

Approved members of the ME2028 cohort, aged 18 or over. Your account is yours alone — don't share your sign-in or use someone else's. Tell us at vsampang.me2028@aim.edu if you think your account has been compromised.

4. Your content stays yours

Everything you post — your profile, posts, comments, photos, files, links — remains yours. You give us permission only to store it and show it to the people you shared it with, so the app can work. That permission ends when you delete it or leave. We do not sell it, licence it, or use it to train AI models.

5. What you agree to do

Post only what you have the right to post. Don't post anything false or harassing about a person, or another person's details or photo without their say-so. Don't scrape or bulk-download the directory, don't try to reach data that isn't yours, and don't delete anyone else's things.

6. Keep it in the cohort

What a classmate shares here is shared in confidence. Don't republish or forward it outside the cohort without their permission. This continues to apply after you leave.

And be realistic: no software can stop someone screenshotting, so share the way you would in a room with your classmates in it.

7. Admins

Admins are classmates, not staff. They approve who gets in, and can hide or remove content that breaks these terms or that a member asks to have removed. They can suspend access for a breach or for someone no longer in the cohort.

8. MIA, the assistant

MIA reads only the profile fields you've made visible, what the cohort has shared, and your question. Her answers are generated automatically, are not checked by a person, and can be wrong or out of date.

Nothing here — from MIA or from a classmate — is legal, financial, medical or professional advice.

9. No warranty, limited liability

The Service is provided “as is”, with no guarantee that it will be available, correct, secure or permanent. Keep your own copy of anything you can't afford to lose.

To the extent the law allows, the admins are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and their total liability is capped at ₱1,000. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.

10. Leaving

Deactivate whenever you like — your profile disappears from the cohort at once, and your data is deleted 30 days later. Ask an admin if you want it sooner.

11. Law

Philippine law applies. Disputes go first to the admins, and failing that to the courts of Makati City, Metro Manila.
